Saint John Energy to Light up Lily Lake Trail in Rockwood Park
"Saint John Energy has donated a leading edge solar digital lighting system that will extend the use of the Lily Lake Trail in Rockwood Park. The gift was announced at the Monday July 20 meeting of Saint John Common Council.
The project will see the installation of approximately 26 programmable solar-powered lights along the 1.38 km length of the Lily Lake Trail. The entire cost of the lights and the installation will be borne by Saint John Energy. It is estimated the project will cost $250,000.
