Specialties Energy Company (W.L.L.), based in Kuwait, is a division of Specialities Group Holding Co. It was formed to become a leader offering highly specialized services within Energy and Oil & Gas sector. As part of its focus on environmental sustainability, Specialties Energy installed four Illumient solar-powered lights as a pilot project. Two lights were installed in a city setting, while the other two were installed in a desert area. These light will serve as demonstration units as Specialties Energy builds their off-grid lighting business as an Illumient reseller.
